What makes an extract live resin?
The starting material. Live resin is made from plants that were flash frozen at harvest instead of dried and cured, then extracted cold with a hydrocarbon solvent. Freezing preserves the volatile terpenes that normally evaporate during drying, so the finished extract tastes and smells much closer to the living plant than a cured extract does.
Live resin or cured resin: what is the difference?

How should I store live resin?
Cold, dark, and sealed. Terpenes are volatile and heat is what drives them off, so a concentrate left on a sunny table loses character within days. The refrigerator works well for anything you are not going through quickly. Let the container come back to room temperature before opening it, or condensation will end up in the extract.
