How much flower is in a single pre roll?
Usually half a gram or a full gram, with the weight printed on the tube or label. Half gram singles are the common format for trying something new, and full gram singles are closer to what most people would roll themselves. Anything smaller is generally sold as a shortie or a mini rather than as a single.
Why buy a single instead of a pack?
To test a strain or a brand without buying five of them. A single costs a fraction of a multipack, which makes it the cheapest honest way to find out whether a cultivar suits you before committing to an ounce or a pack. Are pre rolls made from shake?
It depends entirely on the brand, and the good ones are open about it. Some producers roll whole buds ground fresh, some use the shake off their own batches, and some blend. Do pre rolls dry out?
